Crawler/Toddler

July 02, 2022
  • At the crawler/toddler stage, children are ready to explore their environments and begin to show interest in other people.  Toddlers will make strides in showing independence; expressing their preferences; recognizing themselves in pictures or a mirror; and imitate the behavior of others, especially adults and older children.

Our structured curriculum focuses on these key areas:

    • Gross motor – walking, running, climbing
    • Fine motor – feeding themselves, drawing
    • Sensory – seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling
    • Language – saying single words, then sentences
    • Social – playing with others, taking turns, doing fantasy play
    • Numbers – counting in sequence; one-to-one correspondence
    • Letter Recognition – letter sounds; ABC recitation
    • Colors, Songs and Nursery Rhymes, potty-training, and more!
